WIM Sandra Djukic (Serbia) participated in the 8th “Svetosavski tournament – Pantalej 2018” that took from 2nd to 4th of February in Nis, Serbia. Even though, she had very unsuccessful period in the last year (lost almost 200 points in the first part of 2017), but finally under my coaching she has managed to leave behind almost 40 players and took 2nd place in this tournament.

This triumph is her 4th consecutive success in a row and this win brought her another 19 fide points, which means that she has collected 90 points within less than 3 months! Sandra obviously has passed through really bad period and pull out as very successful! Congrats!

The curiosity in the tournament was participation of my father Ljubivoje Perunovic, who in his eighties, has tied 5th place with few more strong players which got him new 45 rating points!

Congratulations to both and hopefully this is just beginning of Sandra’s journey to a 2300 goal!
