Professional. Personalized. Proven.

With so many people out there offering chess lessons it can be hard to know where to go, and who to trust your chess development with. In order to take your game to the next level it is important to choose wisely, and by visiting my page I believe you are close to doing just that!

I make no false promises of instant success, but instead promise this: To provide you with personalised high quality lessons, from a proven international coach.

About Your Coach

I have been a professional coach for almost 20 years, and in this time I've worked with over 600 students from 94 countries and every continent. This has allowed me to build up considerable experience in helping students of all backgrounds and abilities to improve. This level of experience is invaluable for being a top coach. I am also an expert commentator on Chessbrah, Chessdom and I was an official commentator of European Club Cup that took place in Novi Sad, Serbia 2016. As an active player, I hold the title of FST – Fide Senior Trainer, the highest title for coaches in the world, IM – International Master and current FIDE of 2439 and FIDE Blitz rating of 2534.

About Your Lessons

Do you often find when reading a book or watching a video that parts are either irrelevant to you, or you wish you could ask questions to clarify the information? This is where a professional coach is able to help. It is important that lessons are tailored towards you as an individual, and as such every student will follow a unique coaching program. In the first few lessons, I will make an assessment of you as a player, and find the areas which need developing the most. My job will then be to create a coaching program around that, and over time we will work through these areas thoroughly. This will include building your own high-quality opening repertoire to suit your style, working on strategy, building up your tactical strength, and practical endgame instruction.
